You could also just pull the hard drive out, and get a big new one to use as the Primary/OS drive
At $1/gig, they're pretty darn cheap these days, and odds are you could use a bigger drive

Any one still know how to use DOS? Hell I forgot all the command years ago. Not that I had any memorized.

Yep. It's about the only access you have to certain network diagnostic tools in some Versions of Windows. Besides, who can forget Code:
dir/s/v c:\*.*
