Q:carriage return for planet names possible?
I think this is a new question, that, odds are, very few will find of any interest:
Does anyone know if it is possible to add a carriage return to a planet's name, such that when that name is displayed on the system map, it would show as two or more lines, rather than one really long one?

The reason I am asking such an obtuse question is that in one of the proportions games, I have planets named things like "SPRI ("Stellar Phenomenon and Research Institute") and so forth...with names that long, on the system display they really crowd things.

 Thanks,

 Alarik

I would doubt it, but have you tried it? Some programs will take a Ctrl+enter to get that sort of a line break.

Hmmm... I didn't try that. I was trying mainly cstring type of things with backslashes, etc...
I'll try that out...great idea...I'm embarrased I didn't think of it. Like that time I was yelling at the printer for hours for not working...until I saw it was turned off.

 thanks,
 Alarik

"& " turns into an underscore (at least when in a component name/description)...You might try variations on the & symbol.
