What the hell is an NDF or a TDIC or an OMG I watch the show and i have No freakin clue! WTF he's talking about lol.
And I could sum up all that he said in one sentence:
Phaser= Massive ammount energy hitting rock not shield, or alloy, thus rock goes BOOOM and phaser wins.

I think they over-analyse everything sci-fi. It's morbid curiosity that keeps drawing me back there, I keep expecting it to be some form of joke. It scares me the effort and amazing feats of recall these guys can do. Yeah I like sci-fi on telly but there are limits, and I think those guys are so far past it they don't even know there is a limit.
Still it can be funny in a twisted 'How geeky are you?' kinda way.

Man the only reason I ever went in Depth in the sci-fi is when I was doing research for the books I plan on writing hehe.....but those guys just do it for fun, it reminds me of something i read once
