Canon Cannon
The Canon Cannon is a mythical weapon of mass-destruction, a technological terror designed to smite those heretics who dare to trangress against the True Knowledge of Holy sci-fi Canon.

Various sci-fi shipsets and mods have been criticised in the past over how "canon" (ie how true to the "official" version of events, technologies, ship designs etc) they are. Someone whose hard work has been subjected to this kind criticism is said to have been shot with the Canon Cannon.

When fired upon ISPs and web-hosting services, the Canon Cannon has been known to destroy entire websites.
