NORAID was some of the stuff we (The US) sent over to Ireland, like money, guns, etc, to support the PWIRA.

NORAD = North American Air Defense Command, the guys why track everything moving over the continent, watching for attack.
NORAID = Northern Ireland AID, a charity which publicly claims to be helping poor Catholics in Northern Ireland with food and humanitarian services, but has been accused of funding the IRA as part of its 'help'...
