The version of the CD seems to be 1.60, at least this is what it said in the splash screen when I checked if the fresh game instalation was correct.

In the attachment you have a screen capture of what is inthe SE4 directory

To everyone: I fortunately was able to put my favourite game up and running, the solution was the oldest and best tried method:

Delete EVERYTHING, the whole SE4 folder and make a new install...

It worked, it seems that I changed or deleted something I should not in my previous atempt.
