They are set at carry class 2 - 40 or 240.

And the number is not "tons" - it is just a number for weich class. M1s ar carry class 50, from a quick browse.

Max size for a byte would be 255.

Try increasing LCAC to 250 and see if it works. (Barge is at 254 alreasy and LCAC probably should be similar).
