				 Mod Question: Using them?
Ok, long ago, I used to be an avid modder of SE4. I made a couple of extensive mods, most notably davesmods/dereksmods. Anyways, I haven't played SE4 in a long time, but I did get the latest patch (1.41) So, what I am wondering, how do I go about using all the new mods that people have put out? I mean, I know one of the patchs did something along the lines of making it easy to use mods, but I'm not sure what...
 Thanks
 Derek

It's very easy to install a mod now. The instructions are in the mods, too. You just create a directory and unzip the mod files into it, then change the PATH.TXT file to point the program at the mod. That's it. |

Derek, your mods are still being used. I think there was a discussion about getting them updated to 1.41 a while back.
Its good to see you posting again, and I hope that you do update your mods. Especially now that the new burn is coming. It would be great to see them added to the new disk.

Glad to hear it! I really liked some of the ideas I had put into the mods I did, and thought they added a lot to the game. The one thing I never got around to was getting the AI to use them correctly.

Unfortunately, real life keeps me rather busy. Look at my profile and guess why...
