Default WW3 campaigns?

Are there any hypothetical WW3 campaigns set during 1950-89? I found the silver lions one, but thats it. If there is a soviet one I would love to play that.

I have a WP themed campaign on my to-do list but not from the Soviet viewpoint (Polish actually). I have thought about re-doing the Silver Lions one BUT from the Soviet perspective. Currently though, my time is limited as I finish up some other projects.

Search for the old Red Storm Rising - you command soviet MRR (huge number of troops). Note, that it uses quite old OOBs, so some units have messed up equipment.

I've seen it mentioned but cannot seem to locate a copy for download.

I think a good idea for a WWIII scenario would be a NATO intervention into the Hungarian Revolt in 1956.

i started building a 1956 campaign some time ago but only got a few scenarios into it (it was on the dos version). It is an interesting timeframe for SPMBT - US and Soviet armor was on par with each other, and tactics would have been very similar to WW2 since guided anti tank missles, widespread use of thermal sights, and helicoptors hadn't been widely introduced.

Any plans on starting it back up? We can always use new campaigns for this game.

I would like to, but we'll have to see if the time develops. i'm going to by playing Pyros's Anzac campaign, which may inspire me...

Jeez that Red Storm is huge! Micromanaging a MRR is too much for me with my attention span, inadvertently costing Russian lives...
