For that matter - a tooltip or some such when mousing over a squad that displays the total upkeep & supplies for the squad would be great, make it a lot easier to calculate things.

How about the option to turn on damage numbers display during combat so you can see what effect spells and other attacks have?

I'm pretty sure damage numbers are in. They're shown in some of the screenshots.
