Re: Hotkey guide for download
Ceremony, I have a question. Does the demo come with a copy of the tutorial walkthrough present in the manual? If not, do you know if a PDF will be released, or if I have permission to make a photo-copy of the walkthorugh material (only) to give to friends of mine who get the demo? I'm in the process of sharing this game with people, but I want to make sure I have all the tools available for them to be able to get into it as painlessly as possible.

Yes, the demo has a PDF walk-through, the same one that is in the manual ( ).

Re: Hotkey guide for download
I'll jump in to answer this. The demo comes with it's own tutorial in a pdf file (it's part of the download). And no, it's not okay to photocopy portions of the manual to hand out as it's copyrighted material. You are authorized to make a copy for yourself as a backup, but not to distribute to others.
Don't mean to be harsh or too technical, but it's a good question and a good opportunity for us to address the policy

Re: Hotkey guide for download
You forgot the g-key Bruce.
If you press g in a battle it does grid the map, without hiding the landscape.
Otherwise thank you for the hotkey pdf .

Legally you're perfectly in your right, yet I suppose that the underlying idea was to propose that the "full game" tutorial could be made public for the demo users.
This would require that you (SG/IW) "hand over" the tutorial map and corresponding pdf to include it in demo version.
I didn't check the demo tutorial, but maybe the full game-one is more complete ? And the game really needs that kind of stuff to tease demo players and make them buy the game.
