I'm happy and suprised because I requested that there would be support for cavernous provinces but IIRC devs didn't say anything about it.

Aren't you more glad that #defmult will work? 
I just hope they realize that its not only 20 that doesn't work :X
And regarding caves, I'd expect that a whole civilization living in a cave would have several large open areas (either natural, or artifical through mining), to get together. And also so they can breath :X

I was thinking huge underground caverns, not what we typically associate as 'caves'. If there were actually cramped provinces, it might be sort of messed up.

I'm fairly sure that this is refering to the Cave forts that Argatha and Abyssia have.

I am just happy doom horrors have been fixed, its eaten 4 of my hall of hero leaders, 2 pretenders, 2 army comanders. Suppose I was bound to be affected being in 7 MP's.
When's v3.02 coming out?

FYI, a mod to nerf the Hunter of Heroes until 3.02 is available in the mods/maps forum.

Heh. Avernum actually was just a remake of Exile. But the rpg series was great,plotline and all..Kinda tinkered down by 4 though.
So what do people think the cave providences will be like? Darkness in cave (Agartha has plans for these) Will there be underwater caves as well?

The Illwinter website only has updates up until the last patch.

Yes I know, but when a MP game is under way the mod will not effect it. If the host wants to stay using 3.01 then you after put up with the hunter of heros.
