KDE+Gnome Should Be Merged

This is the KDE+Gnome Should Be Merged thread. This thread is intended as a hangout spot for everyone who agrees that KDE and Gnome should be merged.

Only calm and reasoned discussions between people who totally agree with oneanother are intended to take place here.

After a bit, we will schedule a vote for a motion to have the two desktop systems merged. If we all agree, then we will table the motion, and schedule the merger to take place.

The merger will take place automagically. Everyone must donate extra magic gems to make this happen. I will start off by donating 10 water gems. I find water gems to be the least valuable anyways, so there. That means we are only lacking 90 water, 100 astral, etc. etc. I will keep track as I can.

Yes, yes, B0rsuk, I see your point. We should probably refer to it as Gnome+KDE should be merged.

Good idea.

edit: doing a bit of interpretation of the rah rahhrr. Babelfish seems to think it means g+k instead of k+g, so I am going with that.

Hereby I offer 15 Astral to the cause, and 15 more if KDE is kept out of the merge.

Everybody knows what Gnomes are. KDE are little gnomelike critters that eat ham. KDE are really unnecessary since we have Gnomes....

Gandalf would have you think we need neither of them. But then, you have to remember Gandalf is a very angry genocidal maniac. Look at all of his posts. The man is whacked over the top crazy.

I think one or the other of these critters is good for the ecosystem. I think they are like underground buzzards or maybe part of the liche lifecycle or something.

Most people don't see the real problem behind the merge. What would you call it? 'Knome'?
