I would like to suggest you choose another name as the "Ultimate MOD" is already out there done by Hadrian Aventine.

Yes, I know that. Just look again. i am calling it the "Universal Mod" not the "ultimate Mod". I would like to take this moment to praise the Ultimate Mod. I really love it and it was MY insperation to start the "Universal Mod" idea.

I am truly heart broken! I was hoping for more input than this! It seems that I have hit upon something that puts fear into my fellow emperors eyes. Not the Tal-Re Republic! We shall rise to this occasion (with a little support). I would like to kick things off by working on the techs. I will still need some help as follows:

1) Is there anyone who is willing to share with me a description (file or other source) that details the technology and abilities of a) Star Wars b) Star Trek c) Babylon 5. I believe I had read something in another post about �someone� had some B5 tech files they were going to e-mail? I won�t look the thread up as I want this to be voluntary.

2) Is there anyone who is willing to raise some support for this idea on there web site? I don�t have one and don�t have the inclination to create one.

3) Is there anyone willing to subject his/her SE4 and time to some testing?

For now that is all the support I can come up with. I will go for the cup, is anyone else willing to join me?

Check out the SF mod thread. They're planning on doing all three in one (if it ever gets off the ground), so doing *another* would seem a bit redundant.

OTOH, the rest of your idea is a big vague. A Starfire mod.. so WHAT does that entail? Other than that, what else is in the project?

My mod- Techmod- will be revving up again soon. (Finals. I HATE finals time). Perhaps if they are similar enough we could just combine our efforts..

Phoenix-D: Have said that I love you lately? No well because I don�t but now I do! We are on the same sheet of music. I will leave this thread alone and move over to the Sci-Fi crossover. I will give my full support just point out what you need done. My weak point is in the AI area. I have not tried to tackle doing up the AI files.
