RT: Strange fields in the demo
I have just had a go at the RT demo - "DMZ sweep II". After doing a breaching/smoke fire mission I am left with these anoying fields. What went wrong? |

Those are completed breaches. Next time, give the breaching vehicles a similar path across known obstacles. In this case, it looks like you had a bunch of vehicles crossing the breach at different locations.
 Hope this helps!

Yep - the ENG vehicles were buzzing around like ants! I have units underneath that I cannot manipulate :-( Could be nice with a possibility to turn these graphics of. |

Unfortunately, that's not an option. The best thing to do is to give your engineer vehicles a direct movement node across the breach, or better yet, detach them and send them through one or two breaches.
Another option is to select the entire hierarchy and give them the "Attack to Breach" mission.

Well - I had a scout unit that was stopped by the mines. The engineer platoon breach path went over it and all contact was lost with it( the scout unit!) :-(And I did give them a direct movement node across the breach.

Shorty. I am not sure what you mean by "all contact was lost". Do you mean you can't see it because of the breach?
If you hover over it with your cursor, its name should still apear in the status bar, and you can right-click on it and select path edit for it, which will allow you to give it a path that backs it out of the obstacle so you can get it moving through the breach.

Or you can just drag-click over it to select it.

That having been said, I do understand that it is an issue that breaches cover the units. But the only alternative is that units cover the breaches, which seemed to cause worse problems in play testing.
