Re: Visitor?
Pretty sure retreat is still only to adjacent provs. So if he retreats well behind enemy lines, he would die.

Re: Visitor?
I've played MA R'Lyeh many times but never seen this guy! Now I want to play until I get him!

Re: Visitor?
I played R'Lyeh until I got Greater Othernesses, but never seen the Visitor either. But a Greater Otherness with gift of reason I found to be very nice as well! With its Blood Vengeance (still wonder if MR negates that effect? would hate to stone a SC with Medusa by attacking an Otherness)..
Does anyone know where to find Eli's unit database, by the way? I've heard it mentioned but I have not found I yet..

Re: Visitor?
He's got it linked in his sigs, and he posts a LOT, so it shouldn't be too hard (hint: check the stickied bug shortlist)
And it's Edi, not Eli (not trying to nitpick, but if you're trying to run a forum search the spelling could matter)

Re: Visitor?
I'd use him to quickly cast Battle Fortune, Doom and retreat in big battles with the freespawn, I think. If you want to have a SC-able unit with mapmove 10, have a look at the national Siddha summon of the apes...

Re: Visitor?
battle fortune and doom are spells almost all your starspawns have access to.

Siddha's are great raiders, particularly with a nasty bless .
