Default SEIV Adamant Mod 00.16.03 and AI\'s

I decided to dust off my SEIV and check out the Adamament Mod. I explored the mod a bit last night and must say wow! So I am going to start a single player game while I wait for some of the patches for SEV.

I wanted to ask, for anyone that has played the Adamament Mod, what are some of the stronger AI's. There are quiet a few of them in there. Also did you play allowing them 3000 or 5000 racial points and do some of them do better with one or the other?

All of the AIs are set to take traits at 3000 and 5000 racial point levels. The included .emp files come in all 3 flavors as well.

The (non-monster) AIs use pretty much the same scripts, so it doesn't really matter which ones you play against.

Is the AI able to utilize the Pirate or Nomad traits if I were to edit their EMP files to allow them this option.

Also, I found a couple facilies that are not showing up when clicked on (Stream Error) because of wrong facility images. Easy fix though, just went in and picked out new facility images from the image mod.

Stream read errors are usually caused by Photoshop writing file headers that SE4 doesn't like (this happens only when saving as "windows" format; OS/2 format works fine). You can fix stream read errors by resaving the afflicted bitmaps. A batch capable program (such as irfanview) makes it easy to just do the entire folder.

AIs are not capable of handling pirate and nomad traits well at all (in any mod that has them).

Great mod, I cannot wait to play Energy Beings, if they are fully ready. Adamant increases gameplay a lot. The Imperator hopefully continues to work on it. Should the successor of SE4 one day run the turn-change on a playable speed, I hope the Imperator is going to convert/rebuild the mod also for the successor game.
