Re: How Are Proccesing Times Now?
Yea, the next patch will be improving turn processing, as well as fixing game memory usage

Re: How Are Proccesing Times Now?
Wow! This new patch sure shortened the processing time. The 255-system, 20-player game that used to take over 15 minutes to process turns now takes only about 2 minutes! This is excellent.

Re: How Are Proccesing Times Now?
On a Pentium D 2.80 Ghz w/2 Gig Ram, in a large universe (stock settings w/ latest balanced mod, w/ 10 races my turns have gone from 24 minutes to process to 8 minutes. So a three fold improvement for me. I'll take it.
Now if I could only get Arron to add back the "Systems To Avoid" toggle to the planets list menu...
BTW, could someone post the e-mail to reach Arron? Thanks!

how much it works I don't know, I've received replies in the past but I sent a bug report last week and he didn't reply.

Aaron doesn't usually reply to emails unless he needs more info; he does read them though.

I sent a report once - and the changes were on the patch changes list only a few days after that!

One man, two arms, ten fingers and a need to avoid carpet tunnel syndrome. I think he does rather well with the updates.
