Upgrading is difficult, possibly a conversion program may be more accessible. For instance my wife-bot loves games up to about Mario level (Super NES Mario level), my plan is to acquire a Wii and hopefully convert her to mutually enjoyable games.

On the other hand, she very rarely gives me grief over the 12+ hours I spend at the computer a day as long as the rest of the waking moments are spent either being productive or kissing up to her.

I learned the key was to be yourself (in my case a videogame dork) right out of the box. Then if she sticks around, she's accepted it. I have most of my old systems along with quite a selection of games.

I'm 31. My wife never knew I played games until we were married and she moved in.

I've had to slowly acclimate her to it. Since being married I've had to cut down my game hours and had to stop playing time intensive games like WoW. Which is good for me in the long run because I have time for more productive things.

Just do your turn for the day and you're done.

Hey Tibbs I was high warlord in wow. But I retired shortly after the expansion made all my high warlord gear useless.

I have no regrets though. It was fun for awhile, but at age 47, mashing buttons at supersonic speed is hard on the joints!

I've employed this strategy for 16 years with considerable success -- I'm still single, after all!
