Re: Summer Panic
HB, I think we've got off on the wrong foot. I was just making a joke about the fact that in my life, what you consider fun is not necessarily what I do. I know that you mean fun when you said fun. I'm glad it's fun for you, actually, I wish it was for me, too!

Re: Summer Panic
I feel your pain. I am hoping that someone like Bill Gates gets an urge to gives a large quantity of money to a worthy and well deserving person, someone such as me as the foremost candidate is my first thought, so that I won't have to spend so much time on funding my vices of food, shelter and clothing.
Of course the probability of this is somewhat less than getting 2 heroes, the ark and a ring of wizardry on the first turn with misfortune 3.

Re: Summer Panic
Nah, Stryke, we're fine. I knew exactly what you meant, I just decided it was funny, the way you said it.
It's hard to express humor online, unless it's explicitly stated.
I wish it was fun for you too, although certainly, it hasn't been a perfectly smooth experience for me, by any means.

Re: Summer Panic
OK, now it has begun!
But it was quite soft. Not much that was installed in the new building. No furniture (it came after lunch), no internet connection etc. So we went and had a swim in the sea, near the new school.
In fact this whole week will be soft. Tomorrow I will take a full day of exploring our future event site and walk and swim and have a good day.
Wednesday we are supposed to go to the Capital for a two day meeting with colleagues and develop courses and have Kick-off.
But, I'm not used to going up this early

Re: Summer Panic
Heh. My both parents are teachers, and the summit of their summer panic is the next Monday. Good luck with your work.
BTW, I've always envied Gandalf a bit. I'd like to be retired and be able to play games like him. I want to be like him when I grow old...
