If it makes you feel any better, I had a 3 turn NAP with him and he attacked me without warning as well.

Perhaps he was roleplaying a evil backstabbing Abysia or perhaps just plain forgetful?!?

I did put alot of effort (bribery) into securing a NAP with Abysia early on and I remember giving you some skull mentors for peace. Ermor is vulnerable early on, so you need to get a ally or 2 or just really make sure they don't attck you until your ready to take on the world.
