Recruitable blood mage sites are also very uncommon. I always play 75% sites and very seldom get one.

Adepts. Silver are best, but the rest very good as well.

Lore masters are pretty good for magic diversity to. Plus with 3 full random picks you can bootstrap a blood economy pretty soon as about 1/3 will have a blood pick.

I like adepts, but I seem to get the sorceress more often. If you play a nation with nature, the enchantress loses a lot of appeal even though she is a lot more common than any of the ones I am thrilled to get.

I like shadowseers quite a bit, although they don't have the same kind of power as the others mentioned here.

Lore masters are pretty awesome. They get my vote.

Personally? The Circle Master. 2B2D for _100g_. That's insane. Also consider that the site (Black Tower) gives you, what, 2 death gems in income, and that gets you into both Death and Blood in a big way. But honestly, back in Dom2 when I did a price comparison on mages, Circle Masters were _by far_ the cheapest mages for their effect in the game. With the magic paths 'tightening up' in Dom3 (and making Blood harder to get), they're most likely even better.
