Once more into the breach

Here I go again. After getting frustrated about six months ago with trying to edit the game, I gave up. Well now I am trying again. Everytime I start playing I want to create my own tech trees, for Star Trek of course. All I want to do is create a technology tree called Federation Tech, but then I have problems with the other races using it, and things just go down hill from there. Maybe one of these days I will get it to work, more likely I will end up in an insane asylum babbling things like "Not wave motion guns, TORPEDOS!!!!!!"
