Re: Affliction healing summons?
Kama,
Keep in mind they will not work on units like Tartarians though. But they will heal your normal guys, pretender etc.

Re: Affliction healing summons?
Only Fairy queens? That would be probably some Nature summon, right? So no affliction healing for other paths?
That's a bit pity, because I think especially in MP, pretender affliction can be one of the most crippling disasters. Priests call him back, but he is still unusable.

Re: Affliction healing summons?
Well, the Chalice can cure Tartarians is the main reason. If not for that, Fairy Queen would be the way to go .
With any nation you will have access to the Fairy Queen at some point because she is a nature summon, making her very easy to ramp up to with independents, especially if you find Enchantresses. She also summons sprites too, which have an evil ranged sleep attack.

Re: Affliction healing summons?
1. Gift of Health. Best solution, but good luck keeping it before you kill off
the other nature nations.
2. The Chalice. Great solution, but good luck getting it. Problematic to keep
after people start wishing twice a turn.
4. Wished Arcoscephale priestesses. Expensive as Hell, and do not heal undead,
but great healers otherwise. Loyal, too.
3. Fairy Queens. Underwhelming as healers, expensive, and don't heal undead. On
the other hand, they are great mages, and can summon situationally useful stuff.
5. Other wished healers. May have their own stenghts, but significantly
inferior healers, when compared to a priestess.
In most cases, you are better off using the gems to go on the offense instead.
Of course, Tartarians and the Chalice and options 1/2 are the one of the best
ways to go on the offense.

How about a Nature bless with a forged shroud?

Re: Affliction healing summons?
Triqui,
Nope, will not work on them period because as Tujy said, they are undead.
Also, the wished solutions are not really solutions. If you can wish for something, it is probably going to be a powerful unit that comes without afflictions, not an Arco Priestess.

Ok. I understand you that it would not work on them becouse they were units (in the sense that they are not commanders, but troop). didnt know that the problem is that they are undead.
EDIT: on the other hand, it *might* be usefull to wish for a priestess, if you have a strong tartarian factory and several GOR, since you can create multiple SC with just one wish. Probably not worth it most of the time, but situationally it has potential.
However, most of the time you would wish for a chalice
