				 Re: Where are the downloads?
That would not be a good idea. It would distort the purpose of the mod, which is not to add things to the game, but simply to balance the data. It would increase the download size of the mod. It would increase the amount of maintenance work Kwok has to perform, keeping more races up to date. And last but not least, its trivial to adapt shipsets to work as AI empires in the mod, making it not a very compelling thing to do. |

				 Re: Where are the downloads?
Part of the problem is that making new things for SEV is much more difficult. The 3D nature is what does that. With SEIV you didn't need to worry about that so long as you had a presentable 2D image. 3D stuff is a different thing entirely.

The better SE4 shipsets were made from 3D models, though. |

Generally through DoGA, which is pretty easy to use. |

 | I'm well aware of that, but in that case, it was mostly DoGA. Plus, you didn't need to worry about how the other side of the ship looked, or if all of the polygons would become a "slideshow mode: on" button. 3D complicates matters.

'course, we all do know that 3D is better anyway. :V
