				 Air units --- their SIZE in WinSP.

 Please explain, why at Level Bomber size same as at fighter-bombers.

 For example B-52 - size=6.
 A-10 Warthog - size=6.

 ================================================

 Stels air units (size=0) so it is made, that did not force down?

 ===============================================

 And still, size all air units in WinSP pay off from their real sizes or somehow differently?

 I bet that (assuming that it does not make sense to be so code wise), like many minor things,that nobody has touched them since SP2 days simply because there were more urgent things at hands. For example I have been modding the iraqi OOB since before the war broke out. Yet honestly I still haven't got down to check whether the SU-7 has the same unit size of the TU-16.

 Size influences it will be brought down Level bomber, Fighter-bomber easily or difficultly.From the beginning it would be desirable to learn as the size for air units is appointed, and then to understand with that that now is in WinSP.

 Some "mistakes" in WinSP are noticed.

 In the game code target "size" specifically excludes "air units" from the to-hit calculations and that includes ALL classes of aircraft so just ignore any number you may find in the OOB's that may have been used for any aircrafts size as it's not a factor used by the game when they are fired at.

 Don, the "size" parameter using only for finding of the aircraft by the enemies, isn't it? |

 Yes.
 (Though a landed helo is treated as a form of truck target, so size matters for the to-hit chance in that rare circumstance, if say beating up on one with MMGs or mortaring the LZ)

 Cheers

 thanks Mobhack!
 Another question - is SIZE affects to enemy radar's detection of that aircraft? Or only to 'visual' detection?

 All LOS calculations & sighting percentages use size.
