 For some uknown reason game is still on 48h timer. I will try switching it again. It might have been the reason that you didn't get email notice.

 Luckily, I am not too emotionally invested in LA Pyth so I have no objections, though I am not one to stale normally.  I still haven't looked at the turn yet and I don't recall when the action heats up with my neighbor so it may or may not have been consequential. |

 Very well then, since I am not available until next Tuesday and it seems like nobody is going to pick my position up, I am going to put myself to AI.

 perhaps we can look for someone to take up the position.  a couple stales while a replacement is looked for will not be any different than a couple turns of AI - you are not in any war atm. |

 Huh, try creating a new thread looking for a sub. And wait at least 2-3 turns before turning AI. That wouldn't be really fair for other players, as it would profit just your neighbours [me and archae]. You are too big to go down [like GM and other US companies :P].
