yeah, everything matches historical expectation. I am kicking myself over losing quite a few tanks to the Polish. I am well aware of the shortcomings of 1940 armour (I play tabletop miniatures games and mostly do Blitzkrieg era battles), but I got overcome by the urge to send tanks forward on their own. Needless to say, that didnt go well

Good observation on the level bombers. I wanted to try them out, but they are definately not something thats suitable in a battalion level fight

If you want to do an assault bombers are quite a good thing to use for simulating pre game bombardment as drop quite a bit then disapear so player cant use.

Been there. Done that. Hated myself for it. A while ago I posted a thread on sending unsupported tanks forward. If you, or anybody else, would like some good pointers on armoured advnaces and other topics, you can check it out here - http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=42493. To be perfectly honest, you've got more guts then I do. I hate Poland!

Fighting the British in 1940 is almost a bit of a breather. Though they buy far more artillery than I was anticipating. My poor guys are taking a LOT of 25 pdr shells inbound.
