Mod EA Alchera - now ver. 2.0!

Really lovin this mod.

I did notice that with the Trickster Hero, the flavor text mentions his legendary luck, yet he is not a lucky unit. My mod skills are a bit rusty so I don't know if you can mod a unit to have luck or not, but I thought I'd post this (possible?) bug.

Keep up the good work!! I credit the modding community for the longevity of this game on my hard drive...you are all awesome

It isn't possible to mod a unit to have luck in its profile. However, it is possible to mod a unit to always be lucky in battle, by having it #onebattlespell personal luck.

And, at present, that is what Maui (Trickster Hero) does. The only way to get "permanant" luck on a unit is to #copystats from a lucky unit - and then it gets all of that unit's specials. I intend to do that with the next update, but I've been up to my neck in it, what with having major computer trouble weekend before last and making first submission for my dissertation yesterday.

I've got a lot of revisions &c to do for that, but I figure I should be able to take a little time to fix things and finally add "Summon Taniwha" to the mod in the next day or two.

Hi,
I've been trying for some time now but this mod always crashes DOM3.
All goes well until the point where I have to chose the Era. When I try to select a nation, the game crashes. No other mods are active.

I'm running Dom3 on a mac G5, but so far din't have issues with other mods. I put a log file in attachment.

Huh. Sorry to hear that. I know the mod runs on Win and (now) on Linux... I'll try to figure this out and fix it. Does anyone have any ideas what could cause this problem?
