Yeah, the APKWS should significantly improve helo lethality vs non-tank targets.
For tanks they've had the TOW and Hellfire for years, for everything else they're still using basically early 70's technology.

I thought the APKWS was demonstrated on R. Lee Ermey Lock N' Load show from last summer on History Channel however it was the standard issue rockets prior to APKWS as mentioned is now the standard issue rocket. The old rockets are still a whole lot hurt for infantry though! And I didn't know the AH1J(?)COBRA could carry 16 hellfire missiles as told by the pilot in the video.
