I should have looked at the unit class, Duh! - and also, the unit itself does not have a mortar icon, but is shown as regular infantry -

It is a para mortar, so naturally it will not appear on the bombardment screen since it is not an artillery class. Those are commando mortars, DF only.

As normally UK paratroopers have a "normal" mortar, I've expected the same from this one.
