You do realise that's what we have been discussing in the "enemy unit cost" thread that is about topic number 1 on the main forum?.

In a scenario, the encyclopaedia is trumped by whatever the scenario designer did. Also if OOB data changes over time then the link will point to a different unit now, not what he bought perhaps 10 years ago even if he left it "stock".

If the game data and the encyclopaedia data differ - the game data wins, naturally.
