WinSPMBT casualties don't correspond to killed and wounded.
About half a typical unit is lost to shell shock in battle, and battalions become disorganized below 70-80% strength. So those 600 casualties might actually mean a fifth or a tenth of that in terms of wounded. Haven't played the scenario in recent memory but your casualty figures do sound realistic.
It probably could use some mixed Shermans and Pershings though. I think SPWAW had a scenario for Wolmi-Do like that.
