Lord knows how many times in a single battle I pushed that poor bastard, the dot button. It is THAT invaluable, once those bullets start flying, and drivers start crashing on walls. One little piece of ingenuity it is indeed.

A unit's LOS may put the shadows back on the map, but I will always click on other units that beg my command, and that will bring the beauty back.

Oh, and the easiest scenario on WW2 is Graftstorm Raid, by the way...

I still use move radius and hex grid after years of play. I just like it.

I tend to agree that once you gain experience, you can usually figure out the move radius for each type of unit and the respective terrain. After awhile of playing, you can even estimate just by looking at the remaining movement points.
