This is outstanding thank you! Is it difficult to do? I wouldn't mind a PDF of the SPMBT manual as well. Do I need some special program to convert it or is it freely available?

I really haven't done it yet as he kindly offered to do it, but I stumbled upon some tutorials online. I believe you need a pdf converter program.

The first time I opened this file, I thought, wow! 480 pages!
Then I noticed the first 12 pages or so were repeated twice. Is the manual really that big? Or are there more errors in the conversion?

AFAIK some pages are repeated during the conversion process, others are the updates and country listings that also get repeated on the actual guide IIRC.
It's daunting at first I know, but you'll soon realize that you can skip most sections leaving them for future reference, like the scenario creation guide, tutorial scenario etc.

The Game Guide was over 400 PDF pages back in 2009 (without any repeats).
When you convert HTML files into PDF it is a bit messy and really requires some clean up. When I did it 4.5 years ago I recall it took me about an hour or so to clean it up and fix broken links. Maybe it was longer...

It's OK, even with all the repeated pages it is still more readable than the html version, which apparently my system is not set up to view correctly.
