Default Encumberance

I have a question about 0 enc units like the bane lord and other undead. I know that if the are 0enc they can get as much heavy armor as they want, but does that also mean they Never fatiuge at all? for example when in combat or when casting spells. also, can a bane lord regenerate using ring of regen etc?

0 enc means that it will not gain fatigue simply because of its armor. Spells however WILL fatigue 0 enc units. However, simple combat will not fatigue them. As far as regen with a bane lord, as long as something doesn't have the lifeless or never heals tag, I think it can regen. Its pretty easy to test though, just forge one, stick it on a bane lord and see if regen shows up on the abilities line.

It is important to notice that heavy armour still increases fatigue cost for spellcasting a lot = don´t put it on your undead combat mages.

This also means there is a point to giving 0 enc SC:s reinvigoration items if they are casting self buffs, fighting through the battle fatigued from your buff cycle means you suffer critical hits sooner or later.

0 enc units can also be fatigued by some spells and effects.

Also, regardless of the fact that a commander may not be encumbered, his movement will reduce.

So, you may see him staggering around with a movement of 2. (Which is one square). Consider adding boots of strength etc.
