I found this video showing live fire trials aganist the Swedish' S-tank during the 1960s /1970s.

The speaker's voice is in Swedish but translations into English are available.

The tests show that the S-tank truely was a tank that was difficult to destroy and very well could have been the subject of further development.

Shows the effectiveness of liquid to stop rounds & why most tanks carry their fuel where they do. Sweden definitely on S tanks also used the cheap armour add on of hanging a row of jerry cans down the sides on S tanks. I have no idea if these were just filled with diesel or they used some liquid in them that was deemed better from a protection point of view.

The problem with the S tank is the same as any Stug type vehicle. There is no way to track a target while moving ( which is why we removed the stabilizers from them a week or so ago ). However , I have upped their survivability to 6
