				 Space Empires IV 2.0? 
 I am not sure what the latest patch Version number is up to, but given all the time that Aaron puts into patching the game it is possible that one day the patch number will reach v2.0. 
At that point, would the game still be SEIV or SEIV 2.0?  Perhaps it will be called SEV?
 
What would a 2.0 SEIV be like?  Will it have incorperated some of the fan ideas for improvements?  
 
I don't know, but it should be interesting to find out.

 If you say SEV out loud too many times it sounds to me like a mod based on a living, protein craving insectoid ship, piloted by a loser in a red cap, a walking dead guy, a bodyless robot, and a soft-spoken, introspective, shy girl who happens to be half cluster-lizard.

 Heh, I remember an Online game that was in an open beta test...  just before the game was officially launched, the programmers got up to Versions 0.999999a through 0.999999k...
 But generally, a change in the number before the decimal indicates a major status change.  I would have thought of SEIV Classic -> SEIV Gold would be a change from v.1.xx to v.2.xx, just like Beta -> Classic was v.0.xx to v.1.xx.  Oh well.
