Default aiborne mortars?

I'm playing band of brothers campaign.
I bought 81mil airborne moryars at the start of the second scenario ( brecourt manor) but they don't appear when I try and call indirect bombardment.
What's going on?

This is straight from the game manual's bit on unit classes:

Quote:
UnitClass173=Para Mortar Team: Paratrooper direct fire light/medium mortar class
The Para Mortar class has no indirect fire capability.

OK.

I played along the merderet and there were indirect fire mortars.
So that sort of set my expectations.
They must be regular infantry ones or something.

I don't know what the decision making process on it was, I was just quoting from the manual where it said that unlike all other mortars they don't have indiret fire capability.

I personally would have thought that airborne mortars would also be capable of indirect fire, but someone probably decided that units all the way on the other side of the map calling in fire from mortars that would likely be way out of contact would be a bit inaccurate.
