Default New Icon ...

I just added camo to the Cromwell icon.






But then I get this problem:



So what am I doing wrong?

How did you add the camo? If you didn't do it using the approved color palette and the resulting .bmp isn't properly formatted (it can't be in 256 colors, I think it can only be in 24), then it won't format properly.

The palette was ok, I didn't save as 24, but have now and that solved the problem.

Now I have another problem. I go to replace image #20 with the new shp image and nothing seems to change!



What step am I missing here.

ps. Sorry for the questions but I don't have the help files for Fred's editor. So am muddling my way through it...

Damn I swear they have cloaking devices now If you could send the shp file with the next turn so we are on the same page, Besides I love the work you did in them.

Hi Bob,

Here's my latest work:





I wanted to make these British units a darker green and added camo to some.

I left the Churchill tank - in the red hex - as stock colour, so you can see the difference.

I like them, especially the star on the rear hull. Looks like good work to me.
