Re: 1000-post-jubilee
--superhost is really fun!
Now i can use my favorit pretenders from each nation, set all computer control and look which combination works best as a AI player.

Yep. I also expect the MOD and MAP makers to love it for testing.
For windows Users that want to try testing all their gods against each other:
you need to start the game first with all human players (so that it uses the gods you made). Then hit esc or use the options button to set them all to computer operated.
Now you can copy the Dom2 icon from your desktop and paste it back. Hit right-click and properties to change things like the name and the settings. Add --superhost and any other settings you want from the dominions2/doc/command_line_switches.txt
On linux I figured out how to get it to host over and over without having to hit it manually but I havent figured it out for windows. Probably some loopy bat file.

Re: 1000-post-jubilee
Interesting, isn't it? I thought to bump this up, as I'm not sure what Johan's post count is... This could also be used to test which kinds of pretenders/scales suit the current AI nations. Unfortunately, we still won't be able to see what, exactly, the AI does, so we can't test if Fountain of Blood - Mictlan summons more devils/demons than Mictlan with some other pretender.
BTW, I quess lots of the 1700 posts Kristoffer has posted (now MUCH much later) were done to restricted forums (i.e. during DomII betatest).

Re: 1000-post-jubilee
In Windows, the easiest way is still somewhat complicated. Either you use Command line (Start - Run - "cmd" without quotes - enter), go to the Dominions path, then write "dom2 ---allbutermor", again leaving the quotes out.
The other way is to make a shortcut, choose its properties, and there write commands to the line where the program the shortcut executes is defined.
Command lines can also be used to e.g. make shortcuts that open spesific game (c:\path\dom2.exe EvilAbysia), or host spesific game at certain parameters (c:\path\dom2.exe -S -q -t 1 0 -t 3 0 -t 5 0 multi) [acts as Server, with quickhost on, hosting the game on Mon/Wed/Fri (Sunday=0, Mon=1...) at midnight (24.00=0, 01.00=1...), game name is multi].
