It wasn't an arena battle, but I once lost my heroic Tien Chi Immortal prophet with 42 defence and 28 protection to one unimaginably lucky blow by a routing militia. The Militia of Destiny set fire to his open-ended die rolls and blasted my godlike prophet to -8 with a single swing.
