Perhaps, VFB, it was one of your sneaky opponents, and not a random event at all??? Ermor?? Or Pan, maybe???

Yeah, I figured that out

. I garbled my English though ... what I meant is that an enemy nation attempted to seduce my commander with a Siren. That enemy nation (hello Pan) got the Siren from a random event.

vfb, if you're still interested: I got 3 sirens (1 about every 50 turns) MA R'lyeh, Turmoil 3, Sloth 3, Death 1, Luck 3, Magic 0. They all showed up in the same province (this notorious island in one of the maps... can't remember the name... If you start on that isle, there is no way to firm ground for non-amphibian nations...)
