Is there a list of weapons and armour?
I remember that Saber Cherry made atleast a partial list of all weapons and armour in found in dominions 2, with their ID number. Is that list still around somewhere?
I'm slowly putting together a new list myself but it feels like a waste of time to repeat someone else's work.

Yes, the old Dom2DB files should be available. I'd attach the main DB file, but I'm at work right now. I'm working on a new Weapons and Armor DB in addition to a new Unit, Site, Fort, Poptype etc DB anyway, so with a little patience you'll see them soonish.

Thank you Edi. I'm very grateful that you continue your efforts to provide a reliable and comprehensive database of all things Dominions. It's a tremendously helpful resource. |

Re: Is there a list of weapons and armour?
I have to admit to my surprise that the completeness of the equipment in this game is remarkable. It's something that I usually anticipate being a disappointment in a turn-based game, but there's not a lot that really needs to be added to feel right. Sure there are some things I'd like to see more variety of, like Jotun weapons for instance, but over all, I'm satisfied. If the magic system were as encompassing as the equipment system, I'd be a very happy badger, indeed. Naturally, I'm still hoping I can mod in more weapons/armor/equipment, but that's just my personality working.

You can mod in more. As it is, Gandalf's list is rather good, but it's seems to be missing some entries (the numbers go out of whack before 30) if you try to copy-paste it to the numbered list and match the actual numbers for the ones the weapons have in-game.

Hmmm that list was pulled from the guts of the game. But that was a few patches ago. Maybe I should pull another

Re: Is there a list of weapons and armour?
There's something missing between 16 and 19, because the two bites in the list near the beginning are supposed to be numbers 19 and 20. Flail is 16 and based on the Dom2DB, Battleaxe is 18. However, the basic Axe is supposed to be number 17 and it is not on that list so adding it will probably be enough to complete it. But if you pull a new list, that should also do the trick.
