Lost my castle + units due to a random event!!??

Kind of sounds like the castle control-swapping bug, which I was under the impression was fixed. But you are saying that the castle literally is gone? Like no longer appears on the map? Are you sure your filters arent messed up?

No other castle is there. Even stranger is that my temple (or maybe not my temple) is still in the province!

Oh yeah, and even more strange is that this happpened before, not on a province with a castle, but I got a mage to charm the troll. When the random event hit, the troll, with all MY items (except the bow got switched to the default) attacked that same province. Also, I empowered the troll. Now it has 1 air magic and it's not mines anymore.

Bogus is unique. So if you charm him and an event happens where he attacks some province, he goes *poof* and disappears with his items. You just had the bad luck to get the same event instead of an AI or other human player getting it.

Can't say about the castle issue, though.

A castle shouldn't vanish for no clear reason, so yeah, sounds like a bug.
