FAQ. A curse is PERMANENT. That's because it's not tied to monster ID, but the unique id of the cursed unit. No matter what you do, you can't get rid of it.

Okay! So the key is to simply avoid to get cursed or horror marked. Does magic resistance counter curses and horror marks?

Of course, getting Cursed on a failed MR check is usually better than getting Disintegrated.

Except for immortals.

I don't MR helps against Curse or Horror Mark. I've never noticed a unit not get the icon if the spell effect hit them.

I would have to agree... when I've seen the spell "Doom" get casted it hits all units. From what I've seen no one can resist.

Hum I thought I already saw the regular curse and horror mark spell fail though.
