				 Patriots, S-300
Can you please add them for Greece's OOB with the next patch?

Greece officialy acquired the S-300 from Cyprus and gave Cyprus other military equipment and money I believe. But yes, they are officialy under Greece's ownership and operational.

				 Re: Patriots, S-300
It's amazingly difficult to find any specific date online. Frustrating.
Even the Hellenic Air Force official site has photos and videos but no info.

The only info I have found is on this page:
http://greekmilitary.net/airdefence.htm
The first two systems are the Patriot and the S-300, but further down there are all the rest, including the Mistral which I complete forgot about.

BTW, eh, ok, I don't know how I missed this, but the Patriot are in the OOB...I have no idea how I missed it earlier.
But I am pretty sure the S-300 is not there
Extra annoying point 2, there is plenty of info for when each system was acquired by other forces, but not by Greece, even when showing the units with the greek colours, flags and licence plates!
Of course it is not an official site (and the photographs I recognise from an older issue of the greek magazine Stratigiki, so I shouldn't be too harsh on them
So...I guess this post was useless.

				 Re: Patriots, S-300
The SIPRI databases say Greece took delivery of the systems in 1999 (making sense of a 2000 entry into service date). There were apparently a total of 2 systems (though in the SIPRI databases this usually means multiple launchers, fire control radars, etc). The reasoning provided was:
	Quote:

		| $218 m or $420 m deal; originally ordered by Cyprus but after international pressure based in Greece (on Crete) under Greek control and exchanged for 6 Tor (SA-15) SAM systems bought by Greece from Russia for Cyprus
 | Greece then took delivery of approximately 3 Patriot systems in 1999, and another ~6 between 2002-2004. I assume these are PAC-3 systems, which aren't designated as a MIM-104 variant, or with designation in the US system for guided missiles and rockets at all. There is a separate entry for some 200 MIM-104 PAC-2 missiles (not systems) delivered between 1999-2000. |

 | These are probably early PAC-3, configuration 1 or 2, without the new missile capability (the PAC-3 hit-to-kill missile, the one without a MIM designation). Now it could also be older PAC-2 systems as well, but I doubt Greece would accept GW1-era oldies in 2000.

In game terms, this pretty much matches the version in the US and Greek OOBs, maybe with increased accuracy and/or EW to reflect the guidance improvements as described on www.designation-systems.net:
	Quote:

		| The PAC-3 system incorporates many changes to the ground equipment and the missile, and is fielded in incremental steps, called Configuration 1, 2, and 3. PAC-3/Conf.1 was first fielded in 1995, and incorporates changes to the ECS, a new pulse-doppler radar processor, and the MIM-104D missile. PAC-3/Conf.2, introduced in 1996, includes Link 16 JTIDS (Joint Tactical Information Distribution System) compatibility and further radar improvements against low-RCS targets and anti-radiation missiles.
