Re: Can you filter Commanders?
Tab only filters out researchers in the army setup screen, not on the strategic map (it used to in Dom2, but it was removed).

Re: Can you filter Commanders?
Use the 'y' key to use the alternate army setup screen - use this when moving multiple armies into a province. Example: on the map you've moved 2 separate armies into one enemy province and both armies have the red arrow pointing to their destination. Right click on the destination province and press the y key. Now you can set up both armies in the army setup screen.

Re: Can you filter Commanders?
Is there anyway to automatically rename all of your commanders by the magical paths they have?

Re: Can you filter Commanders?
Pressing ? in game does it, IIRC. I think it lists the 'Z' key, the 'y' key etc. The problem is that some are very useful ('y', and the shortcuts for opening 'r'ecruit screen, F5 for research), and some are situational ('Z' for blood slaves) and some aren't that useful (the key for opening temple screen) - but they aren't categorized by their usefulness.

Yea, I have noticed this. Some players name there mages w2s4d1 etc...
Not only is it very bad for, 'game atmos', it shows up on scouting reports , so you know exactly what mage is with what army...double
I am for roleplaying or amusing names, if I rename my commanders. Such as 2 gargoyles, one with the harvest blade (chops peoples legs off) and the other with Picus's/Procas's Axe of Rulership (chops arms off), together they are called Chop Suew. Well, I thought it was amusing...

Most people know the paths of mages.
But i usually have a few decoys anyway.

Re: Can you filter Commanders?
I seldom care if the enemy knows what random paths my mages ended up with. It saves time not having to search for the spefic mage you need.
