We're singing songs now?

Let's see, what songs did I learn back in kindergarten and elementary school?

London Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down...
Twinkle, twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are...
All we've 'et a, think of all we've et a...
He's got the whole world in his hand...
Kumbaiya my lord, kumbaiya...
Jerimiah was a bullfrog...
Morning get together together together...
If you're happy and you know it clap your hands...
Do your ears hang low, do they wobble to the ground...
Or would you rather swing on a star, carry moonbeams home in a jar...

Some of these songs were strange and I never figured out what they mean!

Kamog

It's a small world after all, it's a small world after all...
If you go down to the woods today, ...
Ten little monkeys jumping on the bed...
This old man, he played one, he played knick knack...
I can sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow, you can sing one too...
Bonjour mon ami, how are you my friend...
Comment ca va, qu'est-ce que tu fais...
Chante la ta chanson, la chanson de ta vie...
Under the spreading chestnut tree, in the shade just you and me...

{TootMode On} I finally got a new HD.. 80gig and made it my IDE1 secondary Master. (I use it to basically store stuff and offload the 'storage burden' placed on my primary 30gig.)

It feels good to have all this 'extra' space. My 30gig was down to under 5gig free, so I got it just in time. Also, I placed my purchase on a budget of no more than $100 tax included and although I went $3.46 over budget I can live with that. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif (especially since I went to two stores and the first store wanted to sell me an 80gig for $129.95 (+tax=$149.48). needless to say the second store's price of $89.95 was much more appealing.)

Not bad, but if you are interested in staying on a minimal budget and buying at the 'trailing edge' instead of the 'leading edge' you could have gotten an even better deal at dumpinggoods.com where lots of vendors dispose of their 'obsolete' stocks.

Because Echo was the name of the nymph that (IIRC) Hera punished, by allowing her to only repeat what others say. Hera was a rather nasty ***** of a goddess, with a big jealousy trip. I think Echo was one of Zeus' many "conquests", and since Hera can't really get back at hubie directly, she takes her wrath out on the mistresses, their children, and humanity in general.

Echo also had a big crush on Narcissus, who ended up seeing his reflection in a pool of water, fell in love with his own image, and ended up starving to death. Which is why we call people who spend way too much time in front of the mirror "narcissists".

Really? I put that quote, almost verbatim, under my senior picture in my high school yearbook but I didn't know someone else had said it. Maybe I thought I came up with it but was remembering something I had read long ago. Very interesting.

fyi,.. I installed the Starcraft Battlechest on friday and managed to play a bit yesterday,.. man that was/is a great game. I can't believe that Blizzard have shoved this potential bonanza in the back closet in favor of a slew of warcraft crap. (which has alwasy been basically the same game but given some minor facelifts.)

SC came out in 1998, and is their single biggest selling game title. (yes it has outsold WC2, WC3, Diablo, and D2) So what exactly are these idiots waiting for? I have a good mind to convince Aaron that his next project should be SE:Ground Combat (an RTS to put SC to shame).

Sorry for the rant, but but,.. but.. Oh nevermind.

Turin, I think this is the best advice I can give you concerning anything DoGA; ditch DoGA level 1 and 2 and install 3. That ship looks good, but it will, not would or could, will look better in DoGA lvl 3.

I was always building space ships with guns during my childhood, and it always annoyed me that they kept bringing out better and better sets after I had "grown up"... But luckily I now have two little lads to re-new my aquantice with lego again. We currently play with this set of lego called duplo explore which is a cross between duplo and technic type stuff that you have a screw driver to put it all together with. I cant wait till they grow up a bit and we can buy all the castle lego and have huge medieval wars......

And if you don't do torrents, it's also available on PBW downloads section here:

I got a page does not exist error.

Strange, so did I. But PBW doesn't seem to be working right now either, so I would assume that's why. I got the link directly from there when it was working....

This is the first non-sensical thread I've ever participated in. And it's generated more post counts for me than any other! Nice.

Nice to see youve got your account back Narf.

Why did he lose his account?

Old age? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/stupid.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Narf lost his account login info (temporarily) when he did one of the following..

1) He Lost a food fight in the cantina and as a result his short term memory was fried.

2) He thought he was clever and hid his password in the cheeze sandwich beside his computer, then absent-mindly ate the sandwich.

3) His computer crashed horribly and took all that precious info with it. (little did he know that he could simply type in his name and password from any computer to browse these forums)

4) All of the above, but in no particular order.

I vote for #4 http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

That was a lie.

The solution is that you did not, in fact, provide any fact to verify. Each statement simply references the other; however, each provides no facts to verify. Hence, the entire non-paradox is nonsensical and therefore null and void.

In other words, 'babble babble babble', in any semantic form, has no meaning. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Recognize where this is from? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

- Everything Harry tells you is a lie.

- Listen to this carefully, Norman.

- I am lying.

-You say you are lying, but if everything you say is a lie, then you are telling the truth, but ... you cannot tell the truth because everything you say is a lie. You lie -- You tell the truth -- But you cannot -- Illogical! Illogical! Please explain. Only humans can explain their behavior. Please explain.

- I am not programmed to respond in that area.

Original Star Trek. A group of robots have imprisoned Kirk & co. and Harry Mudd for the sole purpose of making them happy. I forget the name.

Personally, if I was an evil, sentient computer, I think I would include an abort function for infinite loops, including calculating the value of pi.

Well, if AT wasn't a mod, we would soon have our SECOND Shrapnel Fanatic! I say we start a pool saying when he'll reach 10,000.

I got February 2, at 10 PM Pacific Standard.

I think AT will hit 10,000 Posts on Jan. 29th at 1:23 am.

The real question on my mind regarding AT's post count is weather his library of ship parts is bigger than his post count? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
